Acceptance of Terms
LookForIt, LLC (LookForIt) operates this site to provide information to high school athletes; high school, club and college coaches; and other interested parties to help facilitate the selection of a college by a high school athlete. By accessing this site, you agree to each of the terms and conditions set forth herein as well as in the Privacy Policy. LookForIt reserves the right to modify this Agreement and the Privacy Policy at any time without giving you prior notice. Your use of the site following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Agreement and Privacy Policy as modified.
Copyright/Trademark
The site and the content are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may use the site for non-commercial, personal use only. You are prohibited from using any of the marks or logos appearing throughout this site without prior written permission from LookForIt.
Links to Third Party Websites
Links on the site to third party websites are provided solely as a convenience to you. If you use these links, you will leave the site. Such links do not constitute or imply an endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by LookForIt of the third party, the third party website or the information contained therein. LookForIt is not responsible for the availability of any such websites, nor is it responsible or liable for any such website or the content therein.

LookForIt grants you permission to post links to the home page of LookForIt’s website for the purposes of promoting LookForIt’s services and for referring people to LookForIt’s website. Deep-linking to pages of LookForIt’s website and/or framing content from LookForIt’s website is prohibited.
Usage of Site
You agree to identify yourself as the user of the site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your member identification and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your member identification and password, and agree not to allow anyone other than yourself to access your member identification and password. You agree to not allow anyone that could be considered a competitor of LookForIt access to any information on the site in any way. You also agree that any information supplied to the application (contact information, athletic results, etc) will be entered in the English language, and will be your own or your organization’s own factual information and not represent invalid, misleading or hypothetical information. You agree not to take any action, nor will you assist anyone in taking any action that might compromise the security of the site, render the site inaccessible to other users, or otherwise cause damage to the site or the content. You will not attempt to access, nor will you assist anyone in attempting to access the content of the site in any unauthorized manner, including but not limited to the downloading or decrypting of any information from the site or creating any derivative work from the site or its contents. You agree that you will not use, nor will you assist anyone to use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy the site’s web pages or the content contained herein. You agree that you will not use, nor will you assist anyone to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the site or any transaction being conducted on our site.
You agree that any violation of this clause grants LookForIt the right to terminate your membership, and to pursue other remedies at law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
You understand that the information provided on this site comes from a variety of sources. Some information comes from college websites and other internet sources, some is supplied by athletes, and some is supplied by coaches and other interested parties. As a result, the information may be subject to human error, incompleteness, timeliness issues, and other issues of data quality. LOOKFORIT MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR ENDORSEMENTS WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE, THE SERVICE, OR THE CONTENT. LOOKFORIT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, WITH REGARD TO THE SITE. LOOKFORIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS PERFORMED BY THE SITE WILL BE PERFORMED UNINTERRUPTED, NOR DOES IT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE CONTENT OR THAT ANY ERRORS IN THE CONTENT WILL BE CORRECTED. THE SITE AND THE CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LOOKFORIT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF (A) THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, THE SERVICE, OR THE CONTENT, (B) ANY TRANSACTION CONDUCTED OR FACILITATED BY USE OF THE SITE, (C) ANY CLAIM ATTRIBUTABLE TO ERRORS, OMISSIONS OR OTHER INACCURACIES IN THE SITE, THE SERVICE AND/OR THE CONTENT, (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA, OR (E) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATED TO THE SITE, THE SERVICE OR THE CONTENT, EVEN IF LOOKFORIT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE SITE, THE SERVICE, THE CONTENT, OR THE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO TERMINATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND DISCOUNTINUE USING THE SITE.
Indemnification
You understand that you are personally responsible for your behavior on the site. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless LookForIt and any third parties from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs resulting from arising out of your use, misuse or inability to use the site, the service or its content.
User Supplied Information
You agree that any material, information, or data that you transmit or post to the site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. For any such information transmitted or posted to the site, you warrant that you have the legal right to post such information, it will not violate any law or the rights of any person or entity, and you grant LookForIt the royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, distribute, display and create derivative works from such information. You agree that LookForIt may use your name and photo, or organization name and logo on a published client list or other promotional material. In the event that you provide LookForIt with an idea regarding a new or improved function for the site, your idea will automatically become the property of LookForIt, without any compensation to you.
General Provisions
These terms of use constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. If any part of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not impact any other provision of this Agreement, all of which will remain in full force and effect. Any and all disputes related to this Agreement will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.
Additional Terms of Use – Athlete Users
Access to Information
You understand and agree that multiple parties may be interested in assisting you with your college search. This could include LookForIt staff, high school coaches and their assistants, high school counselors, club coaches and their assistants, college coaches and their assistants, and other interested parties. You agree to grant these parties access to the information you supply within the site. You also agree that all parties (with the exception of the college coaches and their assistants) will be granted the ability to update your athletic results.
Membership
You understand and agree that you must be at least 13 years old to access the LookForIt website. Standard membership provides you with access to certain functions of the site at no charge until you graduate from high school. Elite membership is optionally available which provides access to an extended set of functions of the site over a set term (currently six months) at an additional charge. Regardless of membership type, you may cancel your membership at any time. In the case of cancellation of an elite membership, you will receive a refund of the unused portion of the elite membership term. Your membership may be terminated should you not activate your membership within one week of receiving our activation email, or if you fail to access the site for an extended period of time after becoming an activated member, or if you supply invalid profile information, or after you have graduated from high school. Upon any cancellation/termination of your membership, all data related to your account is permanently deleted.
Disclaimer
Under no circumstances should you assume that the results from this site guarantee that you will or won’t be able to compete at any college. It is your responsibility to perform your own due diligence regarding your college selection and your ability to compete in athletics at a particular college. Colleges displayed within LookForIt may or may not have their own LookForIt membership. If a college does not have a LookForIt membership, they will not be able to see your profile or athletic performance, and will not be able to see expressions of interest that you might generate from LookForIt (although they will typically receive a generic email indicating there are LookForIt athletes interested in their college). Even if they have a LookForIt membership, they may not look at your athletic profile and athletic performance information, and may not respond to expressions of interest from you. LookForIt shall not be liable for any decisions made by you in reliance on information from this site.
Additional Terms
It is your responsibility to understand the eligibility requirements to compete at the collegiate level. It is also your responsibility to understand the rules related to contact with colleges and college coaches as an athlete. LookForIt takes no responsibility, nor liability for your actions or inactions. You agree that you will not circumvent any of the controls in the site regarding contact with a college to be in violation of NCAA or other rules.
Additional Terms of Use – College Users
Access to Information
You understand and agree that an athletic head coach must be the initial user of the site for your college. The head coach will be verified by the email address of the head coach identified on the college web site or by other means acceptable to LookForIt. The head coach (or other users designated by the head coach) will be allowed to update information within the site related to your college. The head coach will be given an option as to whether or not the head coach (or designee) will be responsible for updating the top three best athletic times in each athletic event at the college during an athletic season. In the event the head coach (or designee) elects to not update such information, or such information is not updated in a timely manner by the head coach (or designee), you grant LookForIt the right to update such information, including the right to access your college or university’s website periodically in order to obtain this information. You understand and agree that if you grant access to any other users through LookForIt's coach and other user invitation feature, they must be a member of your swim team staff that can be identified on your college swim website or their access may be terminated by LookForIt. You understand and agree that if you use LookForIt's Excel Extract feature, any recipient of that data must be a member of your swim team staff that can be identified on your college swim website, or be an organization or person having a current contractual relationship with your college swim team, and in either case not be considered a competitor of LookForIt.
Membership Renewal and Cancellation
You have the option to renew your membership at the end of each membership term. You may cancel your membership at any time. In the case of cancellation of a membership, you will receive a refund of the unused portion of the membership term.

Under no circumstances should you assume that the results from this site guarantee that an athlete will or will not be able to compete at your college. It is your responsibility to perform your own due diligence on each athlete. LookForIt shall not be liable for any decisions made by you in reliance on information from this site.

You understand and agree that multiple parties may be interested in assisting an athlete with the college search process. This could include LookForIt staff, high school coaches and their assistants, high school counselors, club coaches and their assistants, college coaches and their assistants, and other interested parties. You agree to grant these parties access to the information you supply within the site. You also agree that all parties (with the exception of the college coaches and other college users) will be granted the ability to update the athletic results of a Related Athlete. You understand and agree that if you grant access to any other users through LookForIt's coach and other user invitation feature, they must be a member of your high school swim team staff or be a college counselor at your high school, in either case identifiable on your high school website or their access may be terminated by LookForIt.

You have the option to renew your membership at the end of each membership term. You may cancel membership at any time. In the case of cancellation of a membership, you will receive a refund of the unused portion of the membership term. Upon any cancellation of your membership, all data related to your high school account is permanently deleted.

You agree to grant these parties access to the information you supply within the site. You also agree that all parties (with the exception of the college coaches and other college users) will be granted the ability to update the athletic results of a Related Athlete. You understand and agree that if you grant access to any other users through LookForIt's coach and other user invitation feature, they must be a member of your club swim team staff that can be identified on your club website or their access may be terminated by LookForIt.
